Our Photographers
Jay studied for his degree in 2001 at Derby University and has since worked as a freelance photographer. Focusing his skills in Commercial Advertising, Contemporary Wedding Photography and Interior Photography, Jay has been able to produce a large portfolio to showcase his talents for both commercial and private clients.
In-between commissioned projects Jay is often found in and around his hometown of Melton Mowbray working on his personal projects, many of which can be bought through the gallery section under personal work.
Jay's influences include Martin Parr, John Blakemore and Nan Goldin, some of whom he studied under at Derby University. With a continuing passion for all things kitsch and inspiration by old cars and cowboy sunsets, Jay loves looking at ordinary things with a slightly different perspective.
Being a keen surfer also allows Jay to travel to unique spots of beauty in the UK and capture incredibly intimate photographs with scenery and subjects.
